Lower the cost of care
The average price of a private gynaecology appointment is an eye-watering £200-300. Bloomful brings you quality care at affordable prices.
What is a visit with Bloomful like?
Before your appointment, we’ll ask you to fill out a questionnaire. This helps the doctor tailor the consultation to your needs.
During your appointment, the doctor will:
Ask you thorough and detailed questions to assess your symptoms/concerns
Explain next steps for diagnosis and/or treatment options
Offer immediate answers to your questions
Empower you to advocate for yourself in any healthcare setting (eg at the GP)
After your appointment, you’ll receive a personalised report summarising your session. This way we remove the note-taking stress so you can focus on connecting with your gynaecologist.
How much will my care cost?
Our gynaecology consultations are £79 and include a personalised report following your appointment. Any subsequent consultations are also £79.
Does it matter where I live?
We offer online consultations to anyone who lives in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. For our US service, please visit this page.
What if I have follow-up questions?
We’ve all had that sinking ‘I should've asked’ feeling after a doctor’s appointment. At Bloomful, you can email us any lingering questions within seven days of your session.
What if I need in-person care?
Telehealth is a growing form of healthcare that gives you access to professional care from the comfort of your home. Sometimes, a scan or physical examination will be needed though. In these cases, Bloomful will refer you to one of our trusted partners. At the moment, our referrals are mainly in South East England, but we will soon expand to other parts of the UK.
Do you offer prescriptions?
Yes, each prescription costs £15.
Do you do blood tests?
Our blood testing kits are sent to your home where you can easily collect your own blood sample through the finger prick method. Full instructions are included in the kit and most people find this method works well for them. Once you’ve sent your sample to our lab (using the pre-paid envelope provided) your results will be emailed to you within three working days.
Can I share my report with my GP and other healthcare providers?
After your consultation, you will receive a detailed report from our gynaecologist. We encourage you to share this with your GP for two reasons: firstly, it keeps your doctor informed and maintains continuity of care. Secondly, the report can add weight to any concerns you’d like to raise, helping you get the appropriate tests and treatments if you choose to do so through the NHS.
Due to resource constraints, we are unable to share your report with healthcare providers on your behalf.
Is Bloomful for you?
Put your questions to our patient support team and we'll aim to get back to you in one working day.
